Netscape Messenger | Outlook Express | Eudora
Please follow these steps to configure Eudora.
- Click on the Tools Menu and select "Personalities."
- Right click in the "Personalities" box (on the left of the screen) and select "New."
- The New Account Wizard will take you through the set-up.
- Use the following settings:
- Personality Name: Enter your name
- Account Settings: Select "Create a new account."
- Personal Information: Enter your name.
- Email Address: Enter your Rediffmail address.
- Login Name: Enter your Rediffmail address again.
- Incoming Email Server: Type "pop.rediffmail.com"
(make sure that POP is selected at the bottom.)
- Outgoing Email Server: Type "smtp.rediffmail.com"
- Check the box next to "Allow authentication."
- Click the "Finish" button when you are done.
Kindly Note: When accessing Rediffmail from behind a proxy server, kindly check with systems administrator to make sure that Port 110 and Port 25 are open so you can successfully access your mails in Eudora.
